Syrina started her legal career working for Koski and Lake in Powell, Wyoming in 1986. She was encouraged to become a paralegal and graduated with her paralegal certificate in 1990, from the Denver Paralegal Institute. After meeting her husband in Powell, the two of them moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, to work for in-house counsel for the VP of Legal Affairs at Boyd Gaming Corporation where she specialized in risk management cases. Syrina and her husband returned to Wyoming in January 2000 to raise their children. After the passing of her husband in 2016, Syrina returned to her legal career working for S. Joseph Darrah as his paralegal and office manager up to the time that he was appointed Fifth Judicial District Circuit Court Judge in December 2021.
She enjoys her two granddaughters and family and loves old architecture and rock hunting.
